Why is there so much fuss about toned arms? Is it really that hard to tone arms? Well, it depends on what approach you’re taking.

Now a lot of celebrities have recently found an approach that works. Madonna is one celebrity that has certainly developed a high degree of arm tone. Although some women may find this to be too much

And critical to any approach is doing the right exercises. You could spend all day doing the wrong exercises and never get results. I’ve been there and done that.

Thus, I have decided to do an ongoing review of as many arm exercises for women as I can get my hands on. If you want to tone arms, read my review of single-arm reverse push-downs:

1. Overview: Unlike regular reverse push-downs, this exercise targets the lateral head of the triceps. This area of the triceps makes up the outer portion of your upper arm. Considered a finishing move, single-arm reverse push-downs are not conducive towards heavy weights.

2. Technique snapshot: Stand facing a machine and grasp a single handle with an underhand grip while keeping the abs tight. Then press the handle down. Let up a little on the abs and return the handle to the top.

3. Common errors: Allowing the elbow to move around. Grasping the handle with too much force which can cause pain in the wrist. And letting the chest cave in and the shoulders round forward.

4. To do or not to do: Don’t do. Using light weights when working out will not allow you to tone arms quickly. And you can only use light weights with this exercise. Moreover, exercising one arm at a time is VERY inefficient. You are better served doing exercises that work both arms at the same time.

Is figuring out how to tone arms really that hard? Not really, just make sure you are learning from the right source of information. Because there is a lot of information out there that is simply worthless. And make sure you are doing effective exercises that are going to get you to your sexy arm goal.
