Handbags Can Be Great School Bags

Backpacks are usually the norm as schoolbags. They are usually large enough to put in books and other necessities for school. Backpacks are also easy to carry around. They can make a hunchback out of you though when it gets very bulky. Fortunately for girls, they have handbags to turn to.

Using one as a schoolbag can be both practical and fashionable. Of course, its practicality depends on the handbags design, size and the material it is made of.

Handbags that are sealed by zippers are good to use because you can be sure that the small items such as keys, pens, pencils, rulers and the like are kept securely inside. Drawstrings can also be great, as long as the things you keep in it are larger school materials such as books and binders. Smaller objects can easily fall through if a drawstring handbag is not properly positioned as you set it down. The same goes with handbags with clasps. Although if they have inner pockets with zippers, then your problem is solved.

If 3 textbooks can fit comfortably inside a handbag, then it may be used as a schoolbag. The books can be used to estimate if you will have enough space for other school necessities. Using a small handbag the size of a purse will not be practical enough as a schoolbag because it will hold only your cell phone and wallet. A very big handbag (a small sack?) on the other hand will certainly make you look far from fashionable. But of course the size to choose depends on the number of things you need to bring along with you.

What the handbag is made of is also very important. What should be considered is not just style but quality and durability as well. Leather handbags definitely durable and they are often sophisticated in style. Transparent plastic handbags have recently made an appearance. Just make sure that the seams are well sewn together and the quality of the plastic is good. Denim is already a common choice and is suitable for school use because it is very casual. They are usually made in black, blue and white and are generally acceptable in the school setup. There are also handbags made from cotton cloth. Extra care should be taken that they are not placed on wet places or else your belongings will be drenched as well.

Practical and fashionable- these are the important elements in searching for a good handbag to use in school. More than considering the color and design, your handbag should be able to carry all the things needed for school.

It will be very embarrassing if your bag suddenly breaks at the seams and spills all your things at the middle of the school grounds. You will definitely be in the limelight, but not in a graceful manner. That’s why it is very important to choose handbags which are not only stylish but also sturdy.
