When it comes to the treatment of yeast infection, there are many ways for you to go about getting rid of it, the only tough part is finding a method that will actually work.

If youve had struggles with over the counter yeast infection medication or prescription medication, here are a few treatments you can try which might be able to help where other treatments have failed:

1. Use Slippery Elm Bark

If you’re interested in the treatment of yeast infection, try using slippery elm bark, it’s a rare solution that works and works well. It’s going to help soothe any itchiness as well as relieve redness or burning sensations.

If you’re going to use this, pick it up in a powder form from a supplement store and add some water to it so that it forms a paste. With this paste, you need only apply it to the irritated area once or twice daily.

2. Aloe Vera Gel

This is a great way to alleviate any itchiness. When you pick up some, be sure that it is a greenish see-through aloe vera that is 99% pure, anything less will not work as well.

What you’ll want to do is place it on the irritated area and rub it in to help with the itching or swelling. If you want to make it more effective, try leaving it in the fridge before using it.

3. White Vinegar

Another solution to try involves simple white vinegar from the grocery store. All you need is the vinegar, some water and a douche to administer it.

Once youve got all those components, dilute the vinegar in some water and fill the douche up. Once full, use it to apply a gentle stream to the irritated area.

So when it comes to the treatment of yeast infection, make sure you try out some of these tips, but keep in mind that they will not completely cure you of your yeast. Very few treatments get to the root of the problem which is the yeast spores, without killing these guys, infections can re-occur.
