Many variations of grills exist today, but among the cream of the crop would be the gas grill islands. These islands, as they have been known to be called, make use of many different technologies and include it in a single package. They are much more functional than the average grill, but also more costly.

A casual cook knows what a pain it can be to go in and out of the house, finding ingredients and bringing them to and from the grill. It’s not such a hassle if there is an assistant around, but often it does become a problem for chefs. Instead of making the trip to and fro, gas grill islands allow for small refrigeration compartments that can hold all of the marinades, sauces, meat cuts, and vegetables that the chef will need.
