Every day, people are cheated and defrauded millions of dollars. Without But even with all the peddling protection legislation calls from consumers, people are still losing money. I have a friend who continues to lose combating money and credit agencies under false charges on your credit card or report. She is a classic victim of identity theft. She has lost so much – Time, money and self-respect. How are these laws to protect consumer protection?
Do people really get in trouble for this! A guy in the Netherlands stole my identity, I was using my bank account to make purchases online. I have all the evidence of my bank and went shopping business information from kids, phone number, address, etc. .. I even called a police department of the Netherlands and spoke with someone there for about twenty minutes, guys who confirmed this address and name to me that he is, but he says he cannot stop until a police report from the U.S.. My police department usually do anything! They said that because he was using the internet I had to contact the IC3 – Internet Center report the crime, so it was almost a month ago and no response them.whatssoever! .. So basically, this guy is going to get away with my money and not get into trouble? If you've experienced this, you had to do to get the person who did this arrested? This is total bs! Who else I can contact?
CHICAGO – The authorities of the State University Indiana, confirmed in recent weeks that the names and social security numbers of 10,420 students attending the university during the 1996-1997 school year is published on the Internet because of an error during a database upgrade.
Oops. This is certainly embarrassing for the school, but the real problem is that over someone's name and social security number, it is easier for a nefarious person to open a credit card or cell phone account in the name of the victim and shopping.
