Identity Theft and Wordpress
It was a license with a woman’s picture being covered by a grumpy looking man. He was dark haired and had facial hair.
Is there a website stating the statue of limitations for identity theft for each states? Specifically west virginia and georgia, but also looking for all states.
This person has done this for the second time. I filed a coomplaint the first time. Since this is the second time, i am pressing charges, but i am unsure of the steps. I know to file a report, call all the companies. But the actualy pressing of the charges is where i am confused. Can anyone help?
Hi, I used my sister and my mom's information to get credit cards and loans and I used their already issued credit cards without their permission. They both checked their credit reports and found out about it.They have both threatened to press charges and are in the process of filing a police report. What criminal charges and punishment am I looking to face currently. Do you think I will serve any jail time? I am in Pennsylvania and under Pennsylvania law.
Someone stole a newly delivered credit card from my mailbox and luckily I was able to block it. Today, I received mail informing me that a new Bank of America account had been opened with my SSN. I closed it. Now that someone out there does have my SSN what steps can I take. I already signed up for Credit Protection Services. Any help would be appreciated since I am not from this country.

I have heard that there is a way to make it harder for credit cards to be opened in my name by adding a pin or something to my ssn. My mom has stolen my brother's identity but he didnt press charges and now I am affraid that it will happen to me.. Is there something I can do to help prevent this?? Please help!
This woman (who is an illegal alien) stole my sister in law's birth certificate for work purposes. We just found out that she is working under her social security number. What will happen to her if we report this, in terms of punishment? We live in Texas by the way.
